Ridgewood – The JCCNNJ Arts & Culture crowd gathered at the Office Tavern Grill in Ridgewood, NJ on October 21 to “mingle before the movie”. The event was designed to precede Jewish Federation’s film showing of the Israeli film, Fractures, also in Ridgewood.
Nearly 30 community members came together for food, wine and conversation before walking over to the movie. Special guest Israeli-born NYC-based filmmaker, actor and comedian Ophir Ariel joined the group to mingle and casually talk about trends in Israeli films.
Creating connections among community members is paramount to JCCNNJ’s mission. Offering experiences in place in local restaurants nearby where community members are already gathering is a way to create moments of connection in a fun, accessible and easy manner.
Jewish Federation of Northern NJ and COJECO were partner organizations for this event.
