Join us to celebrate Earth Day together with a film and a mitzvah project. Together, we will learn and listen to a film about our climate. Then, as our “mitzvah moment”, we will also create and paint birdhouses to donate to the nursery school at the temple so the children can proudly display them in their playground.

Date: Tuesday, April 26

Time: Program at 11 AM; Lunch at noon

Location: Temple Beth Sholom, 40-25 Fair Lawn Avenue, Fair Lawn, NJ

Registration: Advanced registration required by Friday, April 22.

Cost: $5 suggested donations, which include the day’s programming (exercise at 10 AM, program at 11 AM and lunch at 12 PM) are kindly accepted at the check-in desk. All of our programs are open to the public and available at no cost to anyone age 65+ who is a Bergen County resident.

Menu: Israeli Salad, Sweet & Sour Chicken Tenders, Brown Rice. Also included: side veg, fruit, bread, beverage and take-home milk.
