Join us for a moderated community discussion group on key topics in Jewish life. Using the Chai Mitzvah guide for source material, our group discussion is designed to provoke thought as well as action. Our discussion will take place on Zoom.
About Chai Mitzvah
Our tradition tells us that a full Jewish life involves our head, heart, and hands. The Chai Mitzvah program is unique in that it is experiential involving both communal and personal opportunities for growth. It’s more than a program. It’s more than a typical adult education class. It is a way to reconnect, recharge, re-examine your Jewish life.
About the Facilitator
Our sessions will be lead by Cary Reichardt. Mrs. Reichardt is the chair of the History Department at Torah Academy of Bergen Academy and Co-President at Temple Beth Sholom in Fair Lawn. She has been a visiting scholar and guest lecturer at several adult education programs on the Holocaust, current events, Jewish, and world history. She holds a BA in both Education and Sociology, an MS in Special Education and certification in Jewish Communal Services.
