The story of Jewish Life is one that goes back centuries from the times of our Biblical Forefathers centered in the  Land of Israel. But it is also as recent as yesterday in our local community.

In Journeys into Jewish Life, Eric Model takes us on an exploration of the offbeat, off the beaten path, overlooked and forgotten in this recent and more local chapter of Jewish life.

It is part history, part culture and part personal recollection. This program is intended as a place to learn, to be entertained and to share – your story and that of your family as well as our story together as a people.

Our American Jewish experience, especially that locally, has been for too long overlooked and/or marginalized. This is a first step in sharing what was so recently an integral part of our community, and still plays and important in defining who we are and what we are all about.
